What this program is
MTA EDGE is the MTA's small business development program for construction firms. It combines training, mentoring and bid opportunities on MTA construction contracts set aside for program firms, in three tracks: Tier 1, Tier 2 and the EDGE Federal Program.
What it unlocks
Tier 1: MTA construction contracts up to $1.5M. Tier 2 and the Federal Program: contracts up to $5M. The Federal Program also lists help with prequalification, working capital and bonding, and payment typically within 10 business days. EDGE is described as a five-year program.
