Can I bid on HPD work?

When a landlord won't fix a dangerous condition, HPD hires a contractor to do it. Those contractors come from HPD's prequalified lists. Answer a few questions to see which lists your firm can apply for and what's missing. It takes about 2 minutes.

Up to $100,000per repair job (demolition can run higher)

How we get you on the list

  1. 15-minute call to confirm your trades, references and licenses.
  2. We build your document checklist and handle PASSPort and SAM.gov registration if you need them.
  3. We prepare the application, the tax and Doing Business forms, and your references, then set up the notary signing.
  4. We file with HPD's Contractor Compliance Unit and prep you for the technical interview and orientation.

Most applications are ready to file in about 3 weeks once we have your documents. Need insurance that meets HPD's limits? We can place it.

NYC Get Certified and Managed Construction are not affiliated with NYC HPD. HPD makes all approval and award decisions. Getting on a list means you are invited to bid; it does not guarantee work. Requirements summarized from HPD's Prequalified Lists application (ERP, DEMO and TIL/AEP). HPD can change its requirements at any time.
